Can you exfoliate your eyes with a normal exfoliating face wash?

I hope you meant eyelids. If so, a simple washcloth used gently should do the trick. The eye area is much too delicate for exfoliation with harsher methods..Can you exfoliate your eyes with a normal exfoliating face wash?
Well, when you exfoliate your skin, you gently remove the dead cells. Most shower gels and moisturising creams suggest to keep away from sensitive areas such as the eyes and exfoliants are rougher then those. Your eyes are sensitive and it's not worth the risk of damaging them. Do you mean your eyelids or the part under the eye? Obviously the actual eye cannot be exfoliated but I'm guessing you don't mean that. I always use things near my eyes and I've never had any problems, but I haven't got sensitive eyes or skin. Basically I wouldn't recommend it but if you decide to do it then read the instructions beforehand on first aid.Can you exfoliate your eyes with a normal exfoliating face wash?
mr cheese please do not exfoliate the tender eye lid area. If you have bumps on your eyelids a dermatologist can help you in a much gentler manner. only gently exfoliate your face with an exfoliant for faces....
