How do you exfoliate the face with a loofah..? 10 points!?

I heard that this evens out the skin tone and gets rid of dead skin cells.

What I want to know is how do you do it?

Do you HAVE to use a sort of facewash?

Isn't their a homemade natural remedy?

And can I just exfoliate with just water and the loofah by lightly scrubbing my skin with the loofah?

Please help! Thanks! How do you exfoliate the face with a loofah..? 10 points!?
actual face soap gets under the skin and clears it more. i suggestnot using a lofa cuz its might damage your skin. instead get a face scrub or sometimes just sugar and baby oil does the trick if you just wanna get rid of dead cellsHow do you exfoliate the face with a loofah..? 10 points!?
If you are going to exfoliate the 4 heads at Mt. Rushmore then a loofah should work just fine, but it's much too harsh to use as a facial scrubber.

A better plan? Go to the cosmetics counter at a Nice Department store - and stop at one of the full line skin care counter sections -say Clinique' or Aveda. Many stores actually have stylist charis set up and beauticians will give you a free treatment using their product lines, plus a free gift, just for allowing them to give you a demonstration. Best time to go? Tuesdays %26amp; Thursday mornings at about 10:00 AM., or 2:00 in the afternoon.

Homeopatic ';natural'; potions? You can make your own homemade exfoliating soap from a mixture of Saponified oils of olive, palm, coconut, soybean, shea butter, purified water, essential oil of Lavender, oatmeal, glycerin, and Vitamin E. The finely ground oatmeal is the main exfoliating ';scrubbing'; agent. I find that it's much easier and CHEAPER to go to the local Farmer's Market, and buy these fragrant home-made exfoliating soaps there. They are very inexpensive - and the variety of exquisite fragrances is usually incredble. As an applicator , use the same make up removal pads that you can buy at any Walgreens or CVS.

So what are you waiting for sweetie- go get that scrubbed fresh rosy cheeked look on.
Oh, oh, stop! Do not apply the loofah to your face. What did your skin ever do to you?

Try an exfoliator (one that comes in a bottle) instead. It'll cause less damage.
